3Hp to 7.5Hp Standalone USAC for agriculture machines/applications.
After the successful commercialization of SPCM, Kisan Solar has launched Universal Solar Agriculture Controller for powering agricultural applications, besides pump. The encouraging factors for this product are follows:
- We have observed through our remote monitoring system that maximum solar water pumping installation are running for 180 to 200 days of a year and for remaining days they are sitting idle. This is the gross under-utilization of infrastructure (PV, PV structure, controllers, etc.) and reduces the value of complete system.
- Farmers can be equipped with PV power and motor control to run his other applications such as cutter/chaff, blower/thresher, flour mill, most importantly deep freezer and so on, so that he can take a decision to invest into this system. USAC can run the motor of these applications at rated voltage and frequency.
- USAC running the brick kiln is first commercialized in state of Haryana: Brick kiln is challenging application where starting phase of motor demands very high torque. Many Brick kiln is currently served by diesel generators,which run for 24 hours and 9 months of a year without break. Diesel cost at Rs. 22/- per unit drains all profits and adds to enormous environmental cost to the Nation. Average brick kiln owner will now save Rs. 50,000/- per month for 25 years!
- USAC can also run flourmill to grind grains. The quality of flour is maintained by USAC by running grinder at rated speed and pressure.
- USACcan powerdeep freezer/mini-cold storages at farm so that agriculture produce retains value as it can now have a longer shelf life. Cold chain is the dream of policy makers and the single most lacunae in our Agriculture is now thing of the past with the invention of SPCM. Its impact is so potentially huge that it can alter nation’s rural income scene that Government’s have so desperately tried to address.
- Many machines design to deliver maximum efficiency at peak power / nominal power and its efficiency significantly reduces when driving below rated power. One of the examples is commonly used screw type compressor. Electrical storage will help to accommodate the intermittent nature of solar photovoltaic power and applications can be run at nominal power throughout the operation.
